Who are we?
ACJ Search is a specialist search consultancy operating from the West Midlands, supporting customers across the UK and Europe. We work with some of the most cutting edge manufacturing and engineering organisations who rely on recruiting the best possible talent to make their business run. Our service offers them the opportunity to recruit the kind of people who have both the skills and potential to take their businesses to the next level.
Of course, that’s what every recruiter does. So how are we different?
ACJ Search was set up to prove that recruitment was more than just a numbers game. With over 20 years of experience, we’re here to prove that resourcing is about getting the right people with the right skills into the right culture. That’s quite difficult to distil into a search criteria, so we use psychometric testing within our candidate profiling (with the company) and in our selection process (with the candidates) to improve our chances of finding a strong match.
But to make any placement a success, we also need to provide a high quality support package to both the professional, and their new employer. That’s why we’ve teamed up with a candidate onboarding coach, who guides both clients through their first 90 days together, establishing good communication and creating the foundations for trust to develop over time. This starts before their new role begins to help ensure a smooth transition.

We wanted to build a reputation for putting people at the heart of everything we do, and strive to be known for offering a more personal, service lead approach to resourcing. This is more than receiving a brief and finding people to interview. We get to know our customers in real depth, working to achieve aspirations and create relationships that last past our initial involvement. Our values of honesty and transparency are embedded into all of our processes, communication and even our fee structure.
